Napoleon: Hero or Villain?
Was Napoleon Bonaparte a friend of the French Revolution? Evil crusader responsible for the Napoleonic Wars? Was he as brutish and nasty as the Ridley Scott film suggests?
This video assesses portrayals of the French Emperor from throughout European history, including how the British, Russians, and French have shown him differently … and what Beethoven thought of Napoleon.

How to Save the Targaryen Dynasty | House of the Dragon
Lost potential I swear, could’ve spent whole season 7 fighting prime Rick and evil morty
He's not a holy man. He's a judge. Remember the Archdeacon character that told him off
Blud got a kill streak 💀
So basically, open borders
The downfall of the targaryens is idiot viserys and letting his daughter be his heir and her bastards instead of his true born male hairs
Is Quasi really disabled or just deformed looking?
Both i think , look at his spine , it has to be painfull
@@jirdos7924 He doesn't seem to be in pain from ringing the bell and swinging around the castle like Tarzan
**the story of evil morty** **proceeds to give no backstory on evil morty and rambles on about the citadel**
In the book Frollo isn't really the bad guy. Frollo actually willing adopted Quasimoto because he remninded him so much of his own little brother. Quaszimoto's mother abandoned him
I listen to the movie every day at work like an audiobook right after lunch. And i will say this, Frollo isnt a monster. Hes a judge, so hes quite literally doing the job given to him. The problem is the corruption of the common populace and guard. They attacked Quasimodo, just like Frollo said they would. His real biggest sin is weakness for understanding that and still condemning Quasimodo. But plenty of people are weak like that. Includin the entire town who cheers for quasi The lust thing is just obvious gross plot
Is the desire of freedom evil?
Frollo is interesting. He feins piety, but is actually just utterly corrupt.
The problem is that the examples you listed, expound or encourage christian moral values. And we cant have that anymore according to the ideologues.
Did he also kill ricks that's living with family
frollo is the most realistic disney villain. shir-khan was a bloody coward afraid of a little boy, ursula was a jealous vindictive b***, clayton was a trigger-happy money-hungry poacher, gaston was a self-absorbed narcissist who couldn't take no for an answer. some villains were even funny. heck, i thought JAFAR was funny. but frollo scared me the most, growing up. one of the darkest characters i had ever seen in an animated movie. the way he harrass esmeralda inside the church was so predatory and nasty, but also real. we see this in the real world. it made my skin crawl when i was little and instantly gave bad vibes. out of ALL disney villains, frollo has the scariest and most realistic character traits.
Legit annoyed that anyone is explaining this. If you don't get it, then watch another show.
Maybe you shouldn't say slurs
😂😂😂😂😂
NOOOO.THAT MEANS RICK ASTLEY IS DEAD?!😭
Dawg- why do you even need to explain it??? Lmao dude is evil incarnate
Rick❌ Rickroll✅
Scar looks cooler tbh
Evil Morty is very similar to Rick C-137 personality wise and have about the same intelligence. Also he might have killed less Ricks with his CFC tear than C-137 given his rampage and the fact that he teleported the citadel directly into a federal prison
It baffles me how people can clearly see that this man is a villain but fails to see the comparison between him and some of our nations leaders. They have the same views as Frollo, some to this very extent, some mild, and some worse.
In the book, Frollo used to be very kind before meeting Esmeralda. He saved Quasimodo because Q's mother left him in fear (she thought Q was a demon or something because of how ugly he was) and Frollo chose to raise Q by himself even tho it damaged his reputation. He used to be righteous, but then, Esmeralda made him fall in love, be jelaous... which is why he turned into such a demon. Esmeralda was 16 in the book, btw, just saying,
Also voiced by Tony Jay, a phenomenal actor.
FOR EVERYONE WHO NEEDS TO READ THIS Hi! Yes, I am a complete stranger. I just wanted to let you know that whatever you're going through right now will end, and everything is going to be OK. I don't personally know you, but whatever you're going through, any hard times, it's going to be OK in the end. You may be feeling frustrated, anxious, upset, mad, or any other strong emotion. Talk to family and friends, and know that everything is going to be OK. Have a great rest of your day/night!
Y’all don’t come after the church tho, I’m not even Christian, but I’m glad there was a positive representation of the clergy in the priest who stood against frolo
Church is responsible for covering up of abuse of children by the holy men . Church is responsible for the demonization of women through the bogus eve eat apple story and the witchhunts .
ALL HAIL STANNIS! THE KING BY RIGHT!
He’s supposed to be attracted to lil boys? Right
The rickest rick huh?
I am a human after all
So basically your every day run of the mill priest
I think frollo would be an interesting character for an origin story. I wanna know what made him this way.
the musical gives him a backstory and changes a couple of the relationships. a couple of notable differences from the animated character though
Probably being the most or second most powerful man in Paris for decades gave him a superiority complex. Plus, most of the women he came in contact with weren't outgoing bombshells but demure peasant women and inbred nobles. As for the intense racism, dude was probably raised to believe that the paler the skin, the purer the soul
Rafiki was like a inagurator of families
Choyo was prob into black magic granted by rafiki.
It is nott thirst for powerful, its the manifestaion of his families doubt.
Wait i thought evil morty was morty prime
Frollo is one of the most human villain. He represents the darkness that some people have, and they truly believe that they are doing the right thing or that they are good people.
This is a good well thought out video about Gotham. It connects issues well but there's one problem I have with this video. It mentions that Bruce Wayne should do more charitable work and invest in infrastructure. He already does this in the comics but for some bizarre reason it doesn't seem to stick. I think the real reason why Gotham is portrayed as insanely corrupt despite all of Bruce Wayne's best efforts is due to the writers inability to fathom progress in Gotham. Any time Bruce Wayne starts a charitable program or builds a medical center it doesn't seem to stop crime despite the obvious benefits. Even when villains do reform they always wind up reverting back to villains despite their best efforts to be good. Again, it's the fault of the writers who have to stick to some status quo that prevents any progression in Gotham.
No wonder that he hate esmeralda and Quasimodo because there 2 are different from him and frollo doesn’t like people who are different from each other i guess that he want them dead before death get to him and he doesn't like Change Neither
“The Image of God” I believe is his justification.
Rick prime and the concept of the "walled multiverse" (central finite curve), shows that, the new writers, understand nothing of the ideas, lore and universe of the original seasons.
🤯🤯
He is the embodiment of almost every sin. He refuses to conquer himself therefore he must perish. The Buddhists say that the cause of suffering is desire....and we see that so plainly with Frollo.
UltraKill
Evil Morty is actually Rick where there is a dimension where Rick and Morty are swapped that's why he is so smart
That's not true at all, did you not even watch season 7 it shows evil Morty's back story
Neo and nia
Basically he's the only one who got out of the matrix
I don't care what y'all say. Frollo, Gothel and Lady Tremaine are the mosf evil and dangerous Disney villains to ever exist. They can be found literally anywhere in the world.
